It can be daunting traveling to a city for the first time and not knowing how to navigate your way around it. Welcome to Paris, France. In this blog post I will show you how as a first time Paris traveler you can move around the city without using a car including Uber.
As a Parisian girl, there is no need to drive in the city unless absolutely necessary. I do not drive and don’t plan on doing so. Fortunately if you are a first time Paris traveler, you will be pleased to know that the city has a great public transportation system consisting of buses, metros, suburban trains, bicycles and trams. All you will need to do is to pick up the right pass for your needs based on what you are planning to see and the length of your stay. Depending on what you want, you can either
- Get your public transportation pass when you arrive in Paris
2. Order it online and receive it at home
I recommend that you get your pass in advance. Use it right away once living the airport to get on the train that will take you to the city center and your hotel.
