I thought that I would introduce myself if you come here for the first time. Hi, I am Robbie. I am a Parisian that doesn’t drive and that loves to blog about France travel. When I created this blog, my aim was to emphasize on France travel. With that said, in this blog post I will tell you about 4 things that you need to see in Paris.

Traveling should be fun and a great learning experience for all without having to worry about driving in a foreign country or renting a car which costs money. Do you know that France has a great train, metro, tram and bus system that can take you pretty much anywhere. After redaing this post, feel free to add on your list the 4 things that you need to see while visiting Paris to see one of the many facets of France.

Rue Dante

Rue Dante is located in the Latin Quarter in the 5th district. The Latin quarter is one of the oldest neighborhoods of Paris. It is well-known for its prestigious La Sorbonne University, the Saint Michel fountain, coffee shops filled with students, librairies… Head over to rue Huchette as well and Saint-André des Arts. How to get there? By metro line 4. Get off at Saint Michel. By RER train line B get off at saint Michel. By RER line C get off at La Sorbonne. Just walk along the area and discover some really charming streets.

The big clock of Rouen (pictured above) and its lovely medieval streets are a must see for visitors visiting Rouen. You can get there from Paris by train. You will be departing from Gare Saint Lazare in the 9th district and your final destination will be Rouen in the Normandy region. The big clock is located on rue du Gros-Horloge and you can get your train tickets here to see it. The geat thing about visiting Rouen is that it is only 1h30 minutes away from Paris. by train. Plan to leave early and to spend the day there.

This quiet litte passage is located in the 11 th district.

If you are in Paris, I highly suggest that you take some time to visit some of the passages. One of my favorites is le Passage de l’homme located in a quiet area in the 11th district. How to get there? By metro line 8 then get off at Ledru-Rollin. You will have to walk to get there. Le Passage de l’Homme is located at 26 rue de Charonne.

La rue Crémieux

The rue Crémieux is one of the most Instagrammable streets of Paris located in the 12th district. This beautiful colorful street attracts people from all over the world due to its bucolic charm and houses. How to get there? By metro line 5 then get off at Quai de la Rapée and walk your way there.

In conclusion, like most big cities, there are a lot of things that you can do in Paris and off the beaten path away from the capital car less if you are really serious about discovering France.
