Wondering what to do this September while in Paris for fun?
How about attending the Deauville American Film Festival in the Normandy region. While celebrities come to present and promote their latest movie with hope of taking home the grand prize, Deauville attracts lots of influencers, models, photographers, bloggers, singers and tourists from all over the world that come to enjoy the festivities around town and have a great time.
This year, the 46th edition will take place from September 4-13, 2020. 100 movies in 13 categories will be in competition.
On Friday, September 4, there will be a tribute to the late actor, director and producer Kirk Douglas.
Mr. Douglas was particularly fond of Deauville and a regular in this seaside resort who has been for a long time a favorite destination for the wealthy and upper class Parisians and surburbians in search of tranquillity away from the city. To honor him, 13 of his movies will be available for longtime fans as well as to a whole new generation of movie afficionados to view.
Last year celebrities such as Pierce Brosnan, Sienna Miller, Geena Davis and Johnny Depp to name a few walked and graced the red carpet.
