Nightlife Venues in Paris

  • Pachamama is a latin America-inspired club/restaurant with traditional music & dancing. It is on the pricey side but if money is not an issue for you or want to treat yourself to a night of latin music and dancing then bring it on. Furthemore, beware for this place enforces a strict dress code and gets crowded very fast so make sure you get there early especially on the weekend.
  • Fiztroy is much more than just a hip coffee shop. Every Monday night, they have a live jazz band that plays jazz music. Check out my Instagram Reel on this venue here.
  • Le Comptoire Général lies on the banks of the Canal Saint Martin, this place is a popular hang out spot in Paris. I tell ya get there early if you wan to get a seat. The place is like a big loft with a lounging, brunch area and dancing floor with live DJ sets ( Rnb, Pop, hip hop, soul, etc..)
  • Le Duc de Lombard well known for live music especially if you love Jazz music.
  • Jazz Club Etoile is one of my favorite hang out venues. Located inside of the Mériden Etoile hotel in the 17th arrondissement, it is a great option if you’re looking for a complete package for your night out. You can book your room, diner with drinks and enjoy a night of music. Book ahead to make sure you get a table. Visit their website here.

Should you take a picture of the Eiffel Tower at night?

The short answer is yes for personal use. However, if you want to publish images of the tower all lit up anywhere official or for commercial use, you’ll want to get permission from the Société d’Exploitation de la Tour Eiffel (the company which owns and operates the tower).

On social media apps like Instgram and TikTok, we are constantly seeing travel influencers and bloggers posting and sharing their pictures of the iron lady illuminating at night. Although most people never caption their photo with the proper accreditation, it is recommend to do so when sharing your pictures just to be on the safe side. You should put this caption/credit “by SETE-illuminations Pierre Bideau. SETE , the society that exploits the Eiffel Tower stands for (Société d’exploitation de la Tour Eiffel) while Pierre Bideau is for the man that installed the lights.
