Hotel de la Place des Alpes

Cleaningness

If you are looking for a clean and neat 2 * hotel on a budget in a nice part of the city, “The hotel de la Place des Alpes” fits these criterias. A while back friends of mine were visiting from Cape Town and Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

I recommended them this hotel and they were happy with my choice.

Rooms

Room are small. In Paris we like things cozy and small. The square meter is expensive so many hotel rooms are small. Keep that in mind when booking if small rooms aren’t your thing.

Location

The Hotel is close to public transportation and is located on a quiet street of the 13 th arrondissement. It is close to lines 5 and 6 of the metro. Line 6 will take you to the Eiffel Tower. If you don’t want a street view, ask for “une chambre avec vue sur cour.” meaning a room overlooking the courtyard.

Price

Rooms even during the busy season will cost you less than on average. Book early because the hotel has already established loyal clients that come regularly especially in the summer.

Mall

Right across the Hotel, there is a huge mall, ItalieDeux with lots of boutiques, restaurants and a huge supermarket.

In conclusion, I hope that you enjoy the hotel de la Place des Alpes review. In terms of location, prices, safety, shops, restaurants, metros and so forth… this hotel is worth a try. Feel free to check it out if you are ever in Paris. I also would like to recommend you to check my review on the Hotel Plaza Elysées located in the 8th arrondissement.
