My Top Six Shopping Malls in Paris to Shop Post Covid-19.

After spending days in lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many of us are ready to head back to the mall for the simple pleasure of trying and buying new items, strolling around from store to store and just enjoying the moment. Regarding shopping in Paris, below are in no particular order my top 6 shopping malls.

Les Halles

Also called “Forum des Halles”. Les Halles is located in the 1th district. It is among Paris’ busiest shopping centers. From major international retail brands such as Zara, Mango, H&M, Victoria Secret, Mac Cosmetics to local French brands such as Naf Naf, Petit Bateau , Jules etc.. You are bound to find something to your liking.

Note: non European travelers who shops for 3 consecutive days and spend over 175 euros get a tax free 12% saving on their purchases by presenting their passport.

Galeries Lafayette

With millions of visitors from around the World, luxury goods retailer Galeries Lafayette is known for promoting and spreading the French “Art of Living” to an international clientele. Located in Paris’9th district busy shopping area, this store will definitely make its mark on you.

Note: Bring your passport if you want to get some saving on your purchases. Just locate an information desk and ask how you can become a VIP and save money on some of your favorite brands.

Créteil Soleil

Another favorite of mine. Located in the city of Créteil, it is accessible by line 8 direction Créteil Pointe du Lac, stop Créteil-Préfecture. This shopping center attracts mostly locals from Paris and the suburbs. One of their big brand names is British Fashion retailer, Primark, that sells lots of cute pieces for a fraction of what you would find elsewhere. It mostly have French brands and is a typical neighborhood shopping center. There are 54 restaurants conveniently located in the food court section, a huge supermarket chain, high-tech services, moms and pops shops as well as some of our favorites such as Mango, Adidas and more…

Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche

Another favorite of mine. Located in Paris’ chic 6th district, it offers mostly upscale shopping experience tailored to your needs if you wish to. Shop name brands such as Céline, Balmain, Agnès Audras Helen B and more…

La Vallée Village

Located in the city of Serris, less than an hour from Paris and 10 min from Disneyland Paris, this designer outlet shopping center is all about offering world-leading brands and exceptional savings to the consumers. It is home to more than 120 boutiques from local and international brands offering 33% off previous season’s collections, all year round in a French architectural village setting . Enjoy shopping at Balenciaga, Marc Jacobs, Polo Ralph Lauren, Marni, Make up Forever, Longchamps, Botega Venetta, Burberry and more…

Beaugrenelle

Located in the squanky 16 th district of Paris, this shopping center is about making your shopping experience one of a kind with VIP services as well as home/hotel delivery of your items. You heard right. Tired after a long day of shopping and don’t feel like carrying your shopping bags on the metro, bus, taxi, they will deliver them right to your door.
