Moving to Paris: What You Should Know.

City Hall, Paris 10th district/arrondissement

Today, I am bringing you an informative post. Here in Paris, we have 20 districts or arrondissements. Each one of them has its mayor.

Although, there are 20 mayors based on the number of district in Paris, there is one mayor in charge of the entire city of Paris. She was elected to run the city and work from the main City Hall building called “Hotel de Ville” located in Paris’ 4th district.

Each local city hall is responsible to provide some services to Parisians. Although, it is recommended to go to the one in the district you live in, however, due to long lines/waiting time to get an appointment at some, we are allowed to go to any one of our chosing.
