If you are planning a trip to Paris and would like to get some info regarding nearby airports continue reading.
We have 3 majors commercial airports. CDG and Orly are managed by ADP (Aéroports de Paris). In the order of importance they are:
Charles de Gaulle which airport code is CDG. It is the most frequented one of the three managing local but mostly many major/international long haul flights. If you travel from the US, Asia, Australia and some parts of Africa, you will most likely end up arriving at CDG. It is located North-East of Paris.
Orly which airport code is ORY is mostly used for local flights from Paris to other French cities such as Marseille, Nice, Lyon, Bordeaux, Nantes etc.. and those to the French overseas departments/territories (Martinique, Guadeloupe, French Guyana, Saint Martin, French Polynesia, New Caledonia etc..) It also manages flights to Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, many European cities and the Middle Est. It is located South of Paris.
Then you have Paris Beauvais which airport code is BVA. It mostly manages low cost airlines such as Ryan Air, Blue Air etc…flying to European cities. This airport is really far from the city center and is located in the city of Tillé.
